Bigg Boss 13 Gets a Major Setback with BJP MLA Seeking Ban Over the Show

new house of Bigg Boss 13-

BJP MLA, coming from Ghaziabad, Nand Kishore Gujjar has written an informing letter to the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javdekar demanding that the show should be taken off air.

In his letter, the BJP minister has accused the “show was promoting obscenity and vulgarity and was unfit for family viewing”.

He further stated about the show, saying, “The show is against the cultural ethos of the country and highly objectionable intimate scenes were a part of it. Couples of different communities were being made to become bed partners which was unacceptable.”

The minister seems to be quite upset with the show featuring a lot of high voltage content and this act of the minister is coming as an action against the same.

As per the letter, the minister wrote, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on one hand, is trying to make India regain its lost glory and, on the other, such shows were demeaning the country’s culture.”

The BJP MLA has also demanded to form a censor mechanism body for screening the content being aired on television in order to prevent such incidents for the future chores.

As a courtesy to the show, the minister also mentioned that such content is being watched by children and minors and isn’t a fit for watching on television as they may get exposed to adult content through such shows.

The Brahmin Mahasabha has also added on seeking a ban on the reality show with immediate effect as per a memorandum submitted in this regard to the Ghaziabad district magistrate.

Amit Jani, president of the Uttar Pradesh Nav Nirman Sena, has gone on a hunger strike against stopping the ‘Bigg Boss’ as mentioned by him, “I will survive on fruits and vegetable until the government takes steps to ban the show which is promoting vulgarity and misleading the youth. Showing young couples sharing bed on national television is not acceptable and I am shocked that the RSS which claims to be our moral police has not even taken note of this.”
