South Indian Actress Keerthy Suresh is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite respected actor Ajay Devgn. She will be making this debut in a movie produced by the legendary Boney Kapoor. Keerthy Suresh has collected a lot of praises and adoration for her performance in the movie Mahanati. the biopic of the yesteryear star Savitri. Audiences loved her for portraying the character so brilliantly, and she won hearts for making it seem so effortless.
The Boney Kapoor production movie is based on the true story of the former Indian football coach, Syed Abdul Rahim. Syed Abdul Rahim was considered one of the best coaches in the history of Indian football, and is regarded as the modern creator and architect of football. The story is narrated in the backdrop of 1950’s when the national soccer team attained new heights, and was considered as the golden era of Indian football. The movie is the directorial of Amit Sharma, who previously directed Badhai Ho and Tevar, and will be shot in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Syed Abdul Rahim was from Hyderabad, and so it is logical that a South Indian actress will play the role of Ajay Devgn’s leading lady in the movie.
Arjun Kapoor tweeted to welcome Keerthy, whereas Janhavi Kapoor wrote on Insta that she was ‘obsessed’ with her since she saw Mahanati and was damn excited that she was a part of the project.
Fun Fact: Keerthy Suresh was also a part of the Vijay’s film, Sarkar. Keerthy Suresh is currently also shooting for a Telegu movie along with this film.
