The film Bharat has given a good boost to the actress Disha Patani in the B Town. Thanks to her incredible performance and the way the film did good business at the box office, Disha has remained the favorite on the silver screen despite her small role in the said movie. Although sources close to the film claimed that a certain portion of the role in the film was removed as the film had more than 3 hours of running time and the makers suspected that it can come as an obstacle for the movie.
Now, the gorgeous Diva is busy doing her next film called Malang with Aditya Roy Kapur and would be seen in her action avatar. While she is busy with the Mohit Suri film, she has also signed the dotted lines for the Ekta Kapoor who is making a comedy film in the B Town soon. Ekta was seen making Dream Girl a few weeks before with Ayushmann Khurrana apart from the Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer film Judgemental Hai Kya. Both the film seemed content-driven movies and now she wants to try something light hence coming up with a comedy film.
The comedy film will have Ashima Chibber as its director. Ashima has given films like Mere Dad Ki Maruti produced by Rhea Chakraborty with Saquib Saleem in the lead role. Of late, Ekta Kapoor has embarked upon some female centric movies like Udta Punjab with Alia Bhatt, Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor and others. Meanwhile talking about Disha she is doing Malang at the moment with Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur and it will be released on 14th Feb 2020.
