Its Parineeti Chopra in The Girl on the Train Hindi Remake & Not Jacqueline Fernandez

After Kesari, Parineeti Chopra is back in the news and this time, she has been roped in the film Hindi remake film called The Girl on The Train. The film happened to be a popular thriller of 2015 will now have its remake in B Town. The film will be produced under the banner called Reliance Entertainment. The original film is based on the novel called 2015 Runaway by Paula Hawkins and it was then produced under the banner – DreamWorks Pictures of Steven Spielberg in Hollywood in the year 2015.

Emily Blunt was the Hollywood actress who played the lead role in the movie and the Hindi remake of the film will have Parineeti Chopra in this role. Emily Blunt was nominated at the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards for her performance in the film for the Best Actress in a Leading Role. Parineeti Chopra will be playing the alcoholic divorcée and the lady who is involved in the missing person. Ribhu Dasgupta will be directing the film.

While talking about the film Parineeti said that she always wanted to do such roles that her audience and fans have not seen as yet. She said that she would need a lot of preparation for the same and this is the reason why she has chosen this role. Talking about the role she said that she would be playing a victim of alcohol and abuse and she is doing the same for the first time over the silver screen.

She said that she is very much excited about the film and also have read the book to relate herself to the character. She said that as she has studied in London, it was easy for her to relate herself to the character from this city. She calls London to be her second home hence playing the said character would be exciting for her claimed the Kesari actress. The director calls the character to be edgy, dark, and gritty apart from being an emotional one claimed the filmmaker. Since he finds Pee Cee to be a powerful hence has chosen her for the said role.
