Katrina Kaif to Star opposite Akshay Kumar starrer film Sooryavanshi
As Simmba hit the screen, it did announce the next cop drama movie – Sooryavanshi. Soon after the film did well at the box office, Rohit Shetty was quick to share the first look poster of the film in the media. Since then the people had enough reasons to talk about the leading lady of the film. The rumor mills kept on speculating that it can be Jacqueline Fernandez who would do the lead role in the movie. But the makers finally had some other choice.
As per reports, the makers have the name of Katrina Kaif in the lead role in their mind and they are in talks with the lady about the cop drama. As per the latest reports, the makers have confirmed the name of Katrina Kaif opposite Akshay Kumar in the upcoming film with the consent of the lady, Katrina Kaif has worked in several movies earlier like Namastey London, Welcome and Singh Is Kingg to name a few.
Also, Katrina has showcased in some of the action roles in the films like Ek Tha Tiger, and Tiger Zinda Hai, hence she remains the perfect choice for the film. Thus with the upcoming cop drama, Katrina Kaif would be the right choice to play some action sequences in the film. These are still reports but the official confirmation about Kat is still being awaited in the media. Rohit Shetty will be directing the film where Akshay Kumar would be playing the role of an ATS office. The film is slated to hit in May 2020.
