Ever since the Karan Johar film, Takht has been announced it has been reported the most in the media. Thanks to the ensemble star cast the film has with actors like Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Anil Kapoor, the B Town fans are eager for the film to hit the screens. However, they have to wait a little longer as the film is yet to hit the floor as the pre-production stuff is yet to complete. It is yet to finish that has pushed the first schedule shoot of the film.
As per reports, the film is now expected to hit the floor the year-end and not in the mid of 2019 as earlier planned. As per sources close to the film, the pre-production phase is taking time as the film would be of great visual appeal. It is a period drama somewhere depicting the era of Moghul, hence the preparation is taking time than expected. Things are moving behind the schedule and now the film will hit the floor somewhere in November or December rather than in June or July. However, the sources claim that the release date of the film in Diwali 2020 will not be affected.
Also, the delay in the film has been communicated to the star cast and they have adjusted their schedules. Like for example, Alia Bhatt who was supposed to shoot for Takht is now focussing on the sequel of Sadak with his father, while Ranveer Singh is busy with his next film 83, which will soon hit the floor soon. On the other side, Kareena Kapoor and others too have adjusted their schedules and would return to work once the first schedule of the film will be finalized this year end.
