It’s a busy Friday this time when you have a couple of movies of different themes are made. These include the films Ishq Forever and Direct Ishq, which seem to be of similar genre films apart from the other two hyped films like Loveshudda and Neerja. Let’s talk about the former two films. Ishq Forever can be called as a modest release film, which has music to be its own selling point. It has Ruhi Singh in the lead actor role the same lady from Calendar Girls released last year by Madhur Bhandarkar.
Now talking about the business, the film has limited screen shares along with tough competition since the audience has too many options to choose and don’t forget the film Sanam Re, which did well in comparison to the big film like Fitoor. However, talking about Ishq Forever, it can expect to collect 2-3 crores on day one at the box office, which may increase with the word of mouth buzz among the audience.
Now talking about Direct Ishq, the film has again the same problems to face, the low buzz in the media and have lower amount of screen counts to make big over the box office. The film has only targeted the single screens more than than the multiplexes. It has Rajniesh Duggal who would be seen in a rustic avatar playing the character of a tough university leader along with Nidhi Subbaiah who doing a comeback from her previous release called Ajab Ghazab Love. So, as per the buzz, the first day collection would be not less than 1-2 crores only considering the heat in competition and lesser promotion in the media.
