With too many films made on cops, Rohit Shetty is now being accused of showcasing too much of police brutality in his movies. Yes, you heard it right, this came when he was busy launching the trailer in the event in the presence of the media. One of the reporters in the media posed him the question about the same to which he replied interesting.
The filmmaker has made a couple of films on cops including Singham and Singham with Ajay Devgn and then Simmba with Ranveer Singh. Sooryavanshi is his fourth film in a cop drama. However, when he has posed this question, he said his films do not portray police brutality to the audience. The reporter alleged that he has glorified the police brutality in his movies, he took it as a surprise saying that he has never shown the same what people have accused him with.
He called the very question as wrong. He then alleged that people posing this allegation have not watched his films hence they are saying so. He said he and his team have researched a lot before making this film. He was talking to the media during the launching of the trailer in the presence of Akshay Kumar along with Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn who are seen in their extended cameos. The film showcases the two in “Singham” and “Simmba” respectively. Later he added that with his film he has created the brand of cops in B Town. He said that the Mumbai Police and others have helped him to make the film with their kind cooperation.
