The 2004 blockbuster, which featured an ensemble cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, Amrita Rao, Kirron Kher, Boman Irani, Naseeruddin Shah, and Suniel Shetty, became a massive hit and remains a fan favorite. Now, sources reveal that Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are already working on plans for Main Hoon Na 2.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, a close source shared how special the original film is for both Farah and Shah Rukh. “Main Hoon Na was the first film produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan under their banner, Red Chillies Entertainment, making it very close to their hearts. Farah has already cracked an idea for the sequel, and Shah Rukh loves the direction she plans to take.” Currently, Farah is developing the screenplay with her team of writers, along with Red Chillies’ in-house writers, added the source.The source also revealed that Shah Rukh has emphasized the importance of creating a sequel that surpasses the original. “SRK is clear that Main Hoon Na 2 should not be made just for the sake of it.
