As the film Gulabo Sitabo is ready to get its release, but thanks to the current lockdown that kept on extending, the makers of the film did not wait that long. The film was supposed to release in April but the lockdown due to the COVID 19 outbreak led the makers to decide that they would release the film in one of the top streaming platforms called Amazon Prime Video. This has disappointed the popular multiplex chain Inox owners.
They called this decision to be an “extreme displeasure and disappointment” in their released statement in the recent past. Well, time to check the official statement coming via their tweet as under:

The owners felt that the film producers and cinemas have remained hand in glove to each other the way thus coming out to be a mutually beneficial partnership too often. It further added that at such disturbing times, it is dismaying to see the partnership getting hampered with such a decision when they should have waited for the coming days to release when things go smooth. The Inox further urged other film producers to avoid skipping the theatrical run and act that suits the best interests of the stakeholders found in the value chain.
