As Valentine’s Day hits for 2020, we now hear that Imtiaz Ali is coming out with his next venture called the Biopic on Madhubala. But as he is in his celebration mode for his today’s film – Love Aaj Kal release with Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, we now hear that he has shelved the film. The actress Madhubala has her birth anniversary on 14th Feb but as he found things not working in his favor, he had to terminate this venture.
As per reports, he was not getting things right from her sister Madhur Brij Bhushan for the film that made him shelve the project. The lady on the other side she did not give Imtiaz the No Objection Certificate despite his assurance that their story will not be shown in the film. She further said that the other sister Kaneez of Madhubala and her children had a problem with the film. She said after checking the agreement they sent out a notice to her that made her object the film.
So, when things failed she communicated to Imtiaz stating that people are not giving their consent for the film, which made the filmmaker shelve the film. The agreement was supposed to be done last week and Imtiaz was supposed to announce the film today. On the other side, she also said that it is disheartening to see the opportunity of going away to see the biopic coming on the screen. She said that by selling out the rights to Imtiaz could have given them good money to open a school on her sister’s name to educate poor girls.
