Sajid Khan Himmatwala

Sajid Khan the actor and director has been alleged of sexually harassing three ladies. These included the two actresses Rachel White and Saloni Chopra along with journalist Karishma Upadhyay. This has made the film body called IFTDA or the Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association to expel the fimmaker for a year claims the reports. Earlier, in October, the film body has issued a letter demanding an explanation of the sexual harassment behaviour. In the next month, the film body then informed that they had the meetings with Sajid and the girls and they are all set to take their call.

So, finally, in the month of December, the body took the decision to ban him for a year from taking up any projects. Considering this decision, the filmmaker had already stepped down from his role of director for his next film Housefull 4. He has hired Farhad Samji as a director his next venture. However, Sajid Khan has claimed that he has stepped down from the role on moral grounds and that not no one has asked him to do so. He tweeted about the same stating that he took this decision for the allegations hurled on him and the pressure put on him. He later said, he would only step up to the position when he is able to prove the truth and is able to defy the allegations hurled on him.

The film body has alleged that the director had harassed the ladies sexually, mentally and emotionally. They had these experiences when they had worked with him as assistant directors. Rachel White went on to say that he once even asked to seduce him in five minutes to get role in his film. On the other hand, the actress Karishma Upadhyay claimed that the 48 years old director has forcibly kissed the lady while she was leaving his room. We know that the MeToo Campaign has taken many B Town celebs and others like Alok Nath, Kailash Kher, Vikas Bahl and even the Minister of State Mr. M J Akbar. It all started with the controversy created by the former actress Tanushree Dutta alleged Nana Patekar for the sexual harassment case while she was shooting for the movie Horn OK Pleassss.
