After a long delay, the film starring Kangana Ranaut and Sunny Deol called I Love NY finally released last week. The filmmakers were relying on the high sheen career of Kangana, which she has achieved through her two hit movies. However, the film fall flat on the ground giving its maker virtually nothing at the box office. The low buzz of the film in the media also made things bad to worse and above all the abnormal on-screen chemistry between Sunny Deol and Kangana Ranaut, which has failed to impress the audience also, made things difficult for the film to earn big over the box office.
As per reports, the first week box office collection tolled to around 3.5 cores, which is not an impressive figure. The film failed to impress the audience for the poor content, low marketing strategies, low buzz in the media, which caused minimal amount of word of mouth leading this low figure. On the other side, the film Bahubali seemed doing much better over the box office. With Bajrangi Bhaijaan releasing this Friday, things would turn sour for I Love NY for obvious reasons. In other words, I Love New Year is on the verge of getting flop at the box office.
