The comedy film of 2003 Hungama was a big hit with Akshay Khanna and Aftab Shivdasani seen in the lead role, while now we hear that the makers are planning for the sequel getting a different man in the leading role. Yes, you heard it right, we have the Malaal actor Meezaan Jaffrey taking the front seat for the film.
The talented actor has done his debut with his impressive role in the film Malaal which was directed by the veteran director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who also produced the same. The said film came in July but went unnoticed for having the newbies in it. However, it managed to get good reviews particularly the performance of Meezaan’s future. This somewhere kept the actor’s future to uncertainty for getting a flop film at the box office.
But now we hear that the veteran filmmaker from the south has come forward to rope in the talented young man for the leading role in his film. The Jaaved Jaffrey’s son on the other side is confident to do well with the sequel. It was Priyadarshan who confirmed the presence of Meezaan in the film taking up the lead role male in it. He said he has found his leading man for the film Hungama 2 and it’s Meezaan. He applauded the presence on the screen with his debut movie to be terrific. He said is a good dancer like his father and helps emote the best apart from being good in action.
