Anees Bazmee Unfazed by Setback, Gears Up for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

Anees Bazmee is one of the most celebrated directors in Indian cinema, with multiple memorable comedies to his name. He was recently all set to start shooting for a double-role comedy with Shahid Kapoor in the lead, but the film was scrapped due to creative differences between the actor and the director over the script.

While most directors would take time to cope with such a setback, Bazmee is not one to dwell on the past. He has already started working on his next project, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a sequel to the 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. The film is set to release in July 2023.

Bazmee is known for his signature brand of comedy, which is both funny and heartwarming. He is confident that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be a hit with audiences. “I am not worried about the setback with the Shahid Kapoor film,” Bazmee said in a recent interview. “I am a director who believes in moving on. I am excited to work on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and I am confident that it will be a huge success.”

Anees Bazmee and his team are currently working on the script of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the third installment in the popular horror-comedy franchise. The film is scheduled to go on floors in February 2024 and is slated to release during the Diwali 2024 weekend. A source close to the director told Bollywood Hungama, “Anees Bazmee is very excited about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He has been working on the script for a while now and is confident that it will be a hit with audiences. The film will be a mix of horror and comedy, and will feature Kartik Aaryan in the lead role.”

The source also revealed that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be released in Diwali 2024 along with Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5. “It will be a clash of two big films, but both the teams are confident of their films’ success,” the source said.
