A source close to the project disclosed, “The April schedule will be entirely dedicated to the fights and stunts, after which we will wrap up the spy thriller.” Mukerji is reportedly committed to ensuring that the sequel surpasses the high-octane action of the original 2019 hit.

Transitioning to Krrish 4

As War 2 nears completion, Hrithik Roshan is preparing to shift gears into another major project: Krrish 4. This next chapter in the beloved superhero franchise will reunite him with his Agneepath director, Karan Malhotra. According to reports, the script for Krrish 4, which has been in development for several years, is now finalized, with filming expected to start in summer 2025. The production will take place in Mumbai and various locations in Europe.A source shared, “They will begin filming in summer 2025, with schedules set in Mumbai and parts of Europe.” This film continues the beloved franchise that began with Koi Mil Gaya and expanded through Krrish and Krrish 3.

Rakesh Roshan’s Involvement as Producer

Earlier in 2024, Hrithik’s father, Rakesh Roshan, announced exciting news regarding Krrish 4. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he revealed his retirement from directing but confirmed his role as a producer. “I don’t think I’ll be directing any further,” he stated, while assuring fans that the film’s announcement was on the horizon.
