Hrithik Roshan is full of praise for his upcoming action film War 2, calling it one of the smoothest and most rewarding experiences of his career. Reprising his role as Agent Kabir in this much-anticipated sequel, Hrithik shared his insights during a recent event focused on the film, discussing his journey, the talented team behind it, and its direction within the expanding YRF spy universe.
“War 2 has been an absolute delight. It has been my easiest film to date because everything was perfected, and the schedules were planned exceptionally well. Thanks to producer Aditya Chopra and director Ayan Mukerji—who will amaze you with something magical. Collaborating with #JrNTR has taught me so many valuable lessons. I am filled with gratitude. This film is much bigger and better than War Part 1. While I don’t usually discuss films this way, I can honestly say that I am very proud of it. I hope you love it as much as we do,” Hrithik expressed. His enthusiastic remarks have only intensified anticipation for the film, which is set to be a significant chapter in the Yash Raj Films spy franchise—a series that includes major hits like Pathaan and the Tiger series.
War 2 is expected to push the envelope with its grand action sequences, compelling narrative, and the crossover of beloved characters. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, known for Brahmāstra, War 2 also marks the highly anticipated Bollywood debut of Telugu superstar Jr NTR, who reportedly plays a pivotal role alongside Hrithik. The camaraderie between the two actors has been a hot topic since the project was announced, with Hrithik’s comments underscoring their mutual respect.
Adding to the excitement is Kiara Advani, who joins the cast and brings a fresh dynamic to the franchise. Although details about her role remain under wraps, her presence has further elevated expectations. Set to be released on August 14, 2025, War 2 promises to redefine scale and storytelling within the Indian spy genre.
