Salman Khan

Marking the ace director-actor duo’s first collaboration in last two decades was an upcoming project. Matching a co-production between Salman and Bhansali’s banners, marking Salman, 53, playing the lead role under Bhansali’s direction was a massive entertainment project which seems to be a lil pushed for now.

Superstar Salman Khan made an announcement that his much-awaited film collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali has faced a lil hard press as it’s not going to release as per the previously considered date i.e. on Eid 2020.

Titled as “In-shaa-Allah”, it was marked to be a love story featuring Alia Bhatt as the female lead.

Posting a tweet on his Twitter handle, Salman wrote, “The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah.”

Bhansali Productions have also shared the news on their official page on this micro blogging site mentioning that the banner has decided to not go ahead with the movie for now.

As per the Tweet, it read, “Bhansali Productions has decided to not go ahead with In-shaa-Allah for now. Further announcement will be out soon.”

The project was a co-production between Salman and Bhansali’s banners and was supposed to be a big gig as the veteran director-actor duo’s were making a debut collaboration in the last two decades.

Bhansali had made his directorial debut with 1996’s “Khamoshi – The Musical”, which starred Salman.

The actor however, has worked under him for the popular classic film,”Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” in 1999 opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ajay Devgn.

He also made a cameo in Bhansali’s “Saawariya” that marked the debut of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
