As the actor Sidharth Malhotra headed to Mumbai around a decade before to explore his career options in Bollywood, he claims it was not easy for him to get into it without his family’s support. He said how his family has supported him in the journey in Bollywood. He said when he came to Mumbai, he was barely 21 and soon started applauding his joint family in which he was born and brought up. He said he remembers his struggling days talking to parents on the phone.
However, no one from his family has stayed outside like he did and thus they never had the culture of saying love you and miss you whenever he used to call his family members and others. Adding to it, he said he was born with so many fathers and mothers while being brought up in a joint family. He started his career with modeling at the age 18. He worked with Karan Johar as assistant director in 2010 for the film My Name Is Khan along with Varun Dhawan.
In 2012, he got the chance to make his first film Student of the Year with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. While adding about his personality, he said there are many traits in himself which he has got from his family members. He further added ever since he has landed in Mumbai and started working, he has started appreciating his family a lot, which he never did while staying with them in Delhi.
