Kapil Sharma, the celebrated comedian and television host, is gearing up for his highly anticipated return to the big screen with the sequel to his 2015 hit comedy, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. The original film marked Kapil’s acting debut and was a sleeper success, earning Rs 43 crore in India and establishing his foothold in Bollywood. Fans have been eagerly awaiting his cinematic comeback, and the moment is finally approaching.

The Sequel is in Progress

Sources close to the project confirm that Kapil Sharma has officially signed on for Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2. This sequel promises to continue the comedic escapades of Kapil’s character from the first film. “After trying his hand at various genres, Kapil is thrilled to return to his comedic roots,” shared a source. Filming for the project is anticipated to commence towards the end of this year.

New Director, Same Classic Touch

While the original film was directed by the renowned duo Abbas Mustan, the sequel will be directed by Anukalp Goswami, a key writer from the first installment. Abbas Mustan will still play a role as creative supervisors, ensuring that the sequel retains the humor and charm that made the first film a success. “Anukalp has developed a script that Kapil loves, and with Abbas Mustan’s expertise, the narrative will stay true to its comedic essence,” the source added.

Casting for Female Leads Underway

Similar to its predecessor, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 will feature multiple female leads. The casting process is currently in full swing, as filmmakers aim to assemble a vibrant ensemble cast that complements Kapil’s unique comedic style. “The film will be a caper, placing Kapil’s character at the heart of a comedic dilemma involving several women,” the source concluded.
