Hiten Tejwani, ‘Young directors are bringing new concepts and are daring to do something different’
Hiten Tejwani is one actor who has proved his mettle in television, web shows and films. He will now be seen in the film ‘Ardh’ which is the directorial debut of Palaash Muchhal. The actor spoke to News Helpline at the Mahurat Shot of the film.
Palaash is a very young director. How did he say yes to be in his film ? Talking about the same, he said,”Today young directors are bringing new concepts and are daring to do something different. It is because of these passionate people we as actors are getting to perform something different.
He further said,”When Palaash offered me the film, I could see the passion in him to do something daring. I thought I, as an actor, should support him in pursuing his passion.”
Does he feel Palaash will be able to execute the film, talking about it,Hiten said, “I am hundred percent sure. As an actor, you need to show 100 percent trust in your director. Also, he is very confident of what he wants to make. I remembered somebody also gave me my first chance years ago, so everybody should be given a chance .”
Film Ardh is based on a common man who wants to become an actor in Mumbai. The film stars Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rajpal Yadav, Rubina Dilaik and Hiten Tejwani. It is written and directed by Palaash Muchhal.
