Herry Tangri Bio :
Parents: Sham Sunder Tangri
Herry Tangri is an Indian film actor and was born in Ludhiana. He did his schooling and college from the same place. Ever since he was in college, he was active in theatres and later started doing modeling as well, which made him soon realize his dreams and he headed to Mumbai to pursue his dreams to be the part of the glamour industry. 8. He was a district level cricketer during his schooling at Dehradun before he decided to leave cricket and try volleyball.
Herry Tangri, who has featured in LSD: Love, nooky Aur Dhokha (remember Loki Local?), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, will now be seen playing Yuvraj Singh in Neeraj Pandey’s biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, featuring Sushant Singh Rajput in the title role. “The film’s casting director, Vicky Sidana, introduced me to Neeraj sir in October. He had seen me in the unreleased film Bhaangarh and was so impressed, he didn’t even take my audition,” says the actor, adding that he’s constantly told that he resembles the 33-year-old cricketer and recalls that when he was in Rajasthan, a group of kids approached him for an autograph, mistaking him for Yuvraj.
The Punjabi actor has got the look and the diction right but admits playing Yuvraj has been far from easy. Interestingly, he is a right handed man hence had to struggle a bit to look like left hander while playing the character of Yuvi in the biopic movie. To make him more like Yuvraj, he was given a coach to learn batting with left-hand and also to bowl like Yuvraj. 3. ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ was not his first biopic. He also acted in the critically acclaimed and hugely successful Milkha Singh’s biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’.
