Zee Studios Acquires Global Distribution Rights for ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ in ₹35 Crore Deal

Ahead of its theatrical debut on May 15, 2026, the Ayushmann Khurrana-led comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has secured a major global distribution partner. Zee Studios has officially acquired the worldwide theatrical rights for the film from T-Series for a total of ₹35 crores.
The teaser and initial musical tracks have already introduced audiences to the “world of chaos” promised by director Mudassar Aziz, setting a positive tone for its mid-May release.
A Strategic Distribution Breakdown
The acquisition is split between domestic and international markets to maximize the film’s reach. The India Rights seems to have been Valued at ₹27 crores.. while Overseas Rights are further Valued at ₹8 crores, and the Break-Even Point came in the form when the Trade experts suggest that with this “reasonable” deal, the distributors will break even once the film reaches approximately ₹65 crores in domestic business.
Solo Release and Market Expectations
Zee Studios is reportedly planning a wide global release, capitalizing on the film’s status as a solo, family-oriented entertainer.
