‘Heropanti 2‘, which had a poor start, has seen a dip in box office receipts on its second day. Because the film had fewer block bookings on Saturday, the drop was expected. ‘Heropanti 2’ earned Rs 4.75 crore on Saturday, according to Boxofficeindia. The film has now grossed Rs 11 crore nett in its first two days.
This appears to be a pretty low rating for an action comedy featuring Tiger Shroff. Tara Sutaria portrays the leading heroine with Tiger Shroff and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is starred as a deadly villain. The fate of Ahmed Khan’s ‘Heropanti 2’ now depends on the impending Eid holiday. The film was also up against ‘KGF 2’ in Hindi and Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh’s ‘Runway 34’. ‘Heropanti 2’ is the sequel to the 2014 film by the same name, which was directed by Sabbir Khan.
Earlier, while speaking about ‘Heropanti 2’ releasing around Eid, Tiger had previously told BT, “Heropanti 2 is my first ever Eid release, a period that has been synonymous to Salman sir because of his blockbuster film releases. I am aware that the shoes are too big to fill but I’m glad that I got this opportunity to entertain the audience around a festive time like this. It’s a huge responsibility but the pressure reduces when I see all the love that is coming my way. I feel grateful.”
