As expected, the film Hero starring the newbie Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, manage to give a decent collection. Despite all odds, the film had a decent buzz in the media, thanks to the superstars like Salman Khan who managed the same. The story of the film was similar to the lines of Herpoanti, which was again done with a newcomer in B Town Tiger Shroff, however, it managed to do better business than the latter. Yet Nikhil Advani film managed to a decent business at the end of the first week. As per reports, the film had the collection of around 21 crores at the end of the first weekend, which went to add another 10 in the remaining weekdays.
Thus the first week box office report for Hero tolled to around 31 crores. At least the film was able to surpass the earlier movie released by Nikhil Advani called D Day, which bagged around 30 crores after the end of the first week. The film was a solo release, which also helped Hero to earn that much amount. Also, the factor of Salman Khan too was present in it, which together helped the people to earn decent over the box office.
