Here is everything about Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s most intimate roka ceremony at director Kabir Khan’s home
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are reportedly ready to take their wedding vows soon in December. The couple had an intimate roka ceremony with close family. According to the reports the special ceremony was held at Katrina’s friend and Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur’s home.
Katrina has worked with Kabir in New York and Ek Tha Tiger. She also considers him her rakhi brother.
As per the reports the ceremony was quite intimate with only family members. Katrina’s mom, Suzanne Turquoette, her sister, Isabelle Kaif, Vicky’s parents, Sham Kaushal and Veena Kaushal, and brother Sunny Kaushal were present at the ceremony.
Earlier, Katrina had denied the rumours about their engagement. A friend close to the couple spilled the beans and said, “It was a beautiful roka. There were lights and decorations and Katrina looked stunning in her lehenga. Since the Diwali dates were an auspicious muhurat, the families decided to go ahead with the ceremony. Kabir and Mini are almost like family to Katrina and they were the most gracious hosts.”
There are also reports that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will get married in Rajasthan in December. The couple would skip their honeymoon as both have impending work commitments.
The friend told the media, “They are playing it very casual and keeping it hush-hush. Katrina just smiles or acts like she doesn’t know what you are talking about when asked about the wedding. No date has been given by either of them yet. There is no information on the venue either. It won’t come as a surprise if they decide to ditch the venue last minute and choose another place. The details of the venue leaking in the media have definitely caused them concern.”
On Diwali November 4, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal attended Aarti Shetty’s party together.
