Hema Malini Clean Hands on World Hand Hygiene Day to raise awareness
As we observe 5th May as World Hand Hygiene Day, we see the objective behind the same is to create awareness about cleanliness and hygiene among the masses. The days ask people to keep the hands clean. It has been a global campaign organised by WHO since 2009 which targets both the healthcare professionals and others to follow the norms of hand hygiene practices. So, on this big day we see Hema Malini coming out for the Hema Malini Clean Hands event to create awareness about the same.
She was joined by the B Town actress Amrita Rao who also had a similar message to give to her fans on his big day. While talking about the same, the actress turned politician said that hand hygiene is the topmost thing to do when it comes to keeping the COVID 19 virus at bay. She further said people are still confused about the virus as they feel that it is similar to the cold and flu virus. She said sanitising their hands can help people in a big way. She further added saying that it’s high time people start taking up this measure and educate people about the hand and hygiene.
Hema Malini is the part of the initiative carried out by The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India which is meant to celebrate the awareness of the World Hand Hygiene Day on May 5. Further talking about the same, Hema Malini said that washing hands is an important habit which has to be done on a regular basis with the help of soaps and other things. This way it will keep many ailments at bay.
