I never thought it was important for me to use my father’s last name. It was always Tabassum Fatima, which was my middle name. I went by the name Fatima at school. I don’t remember him at all. He has occasionally met my sister, but I’ve never really felt like going to meet him. I am content with who I am and how I have developed; I have no interest in him. My personal life is quite stable.
