She has produced various movies under the Red Chillies production name as a producer as well. With her recent participation in Karan Johar’s chat program “Koffee With Karan 7” alongside the other “The Fabulous Live of Bollywood Wives” cast members, Gauri has earned the audience’s hearts all over again. How did SRK and Gauri Khan meet?
Very few people would know that Shah Rukh fell in love with Gauri at the age of 18. When Gauri was only 14 years old, the Delhi teen ran into her at a party. According to rumors, the couple’s first date took place at the Panchshila Club in Delhi. The young pair spent their brief first encounter, described in Anupama Chopra’s book King of Bollywood: Shah Rukh Khan and the Seductive World of Indian Cinema, lounging by the pool and “nervously sipping colas,” according to the book. Once he had Gauri’s phone number, Shah Rukh would contact her at home while posing as a friend named Shaheen.
Behind the Wedding of the love couple’s wedding
The journey to marriage for Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan wasn’t simple. The couple reportedly had many difficulties while courting. Gauri left Delhi for Mumbai without telling Shah Rukh after one of their fights. Shah Rukh followed Gauri to the place that would eventually become his home and made up with her at Mumbai’s Gorai beach with just Rs 10,000 in his pocket. The wedding took place on October 25, 1991. It turns out that Shah Rukh Khan had to borrow a suit from the Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman costume shop for the occasion.
