Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar attended Rajkummar & Patralekhaa’s wedding reception

On Monday, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa married in Chandigarh. The couple married according to Hindu customs, followed by a wedding reception attended by a limited group of guests, including Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

The first photo of the newlyweds at the celebration was tweeted by Khattar. He wrote, “Attended the wedding ceremony of famous Bollywood actors Rajkumar Rao and Patralekhaa in Chandigarh, blessed the bride and groom blessings and congratulated them for a successful married life.”

The Haryana Chief Minister is seen posing with the wedded couple in a kurta-pyjama. Patralekhaa is dressed in a beige silk saree with a shawl draped around her shoulders, while Rajkummar is dressed in a black tuxedo and bowtie. Her forehead is adorned with a bindi and she has vermillion in her middle-parted hair. She’s also wearing the same jewellery she wore during the pheras, which she wore with her bridal red lehenga.

Announcing his marriage with the first pictures from the wedding, Rajkummar had written on Instagram, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond.”

In the comments section, everyone from Priyanka Chopra to Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Anil Kapoor complimented the newlyweds.

The Oberoi Sukhvilas Spa Resort in New Chandigarh staged an all-white engagement event for Rajkummar and Patralekhaa on Saturday. Rajkummar got down on one knee to propose to Patralekhaa, who reciprocated with the same move and said, “Will you marry me?” They danced to a romantic song and exchanged rings.
