Harshita Gaur’s epic journey from the web series world to the big screen

After the success drive of Harshita Gaur in the popular web series, ‘Mirzapur’, Harshita Gaur is finally taking to the big screen. The talented actress is finally making her debut in Telugu cinema working with ‘Falaknuma Das’.

The transition phase for Harshita Gaur from being a differently reigned engineering student to becoming an actor and moving all the way from Delhi to Mumbai was not that difficult as it usually is. Talking to the media about her drastically changed life dreams, she mentioned that acting was always an attraction for her ever since her school days. She also learnt Kathak and involved in the school dramatic society to be a part of this which helped her get through a number of stage shows, too. Recalling those days, she mentioned on certain media platforms, “I would always tell my folks that I would go to Mumbai and try acting some day.”

Harshita Gaur, 28 is a well pronounced actor with her sharp features attributed by her as a resemblance to her aunt. Harshita has grown to be a regular face on the screen. Right from being a model for several commercials, a profound actor in Sadda Haq, an immensely popular show of Channel V that completed two and a half years of its play and not to forget the web series Mirzapur.

Spotted by Vishwak Sen, she got this golden opportunity to be a part of his directorial debut film, Falaknuma Das, which is a remake of the popular Malayalam film Angamaly Diaries. Working for its Telugu version, Harshita will be playing the role of a nurse, who is a practical woman, visiting India for project.
