Sonu Nigam has been making headlines for defending the glamorous self styled god woman – Sukhwinder Kaur who is more known as Radhe Maa. In a series of Tweets, he has tried to defend the godwoman. In fact, for this entire controversy he posted a long letter sharing it various social media sites including Facebook. He said that he has never met the girl, but one must have respect for a lady. He further said, she is still to be punished by the law so calling her a culprit before the decision of court is unlawful.
He then pointed out fingers on countless people who take a dip in the river Ganga during the Kumbh Mela and also to Sadhus who roam around the country naked but no one objects about the same, however, a woman in glamorous dress becomes the victim. He further claimed that the devotees do not have any issue with Radhe Ma, which gives no reason to others to get bothered about the same. He said that if the devotees find their god in a dancing guru, there is no problem in accepting Radhe Maa to be a god for the people who follow her. He further alleged the people who have been very much critical to his statement earlier calling them as rowdy mob of hooligans.
