All thanks to the interesting aspects of the film that has made the audience win the praises. The film was earlier decided to hit the screens on 25th March 2019, however, as per the recent media reports, the makers have pushed the date of release in May 2019 and reason behind this is the actress of the film Kangana Ranaut.
Yes, you heard it right, the actress has requested the makers to release the film in May as she wanted a break between her last film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Mental Hai Kya. She wants some breathing space between the films. As we see the former film is still running in the screens hence taking a gap between the two would be fair for the lady. Now, talking about the film Mental Hai Kya, it happens to be a black comedy. Prakash Kovelamudi has directed the film and averted as per the request by Kangana, the film is now being pushed to the IPL season.
Therefore the film will enter into the mode of promotion in March 2019 when we see the lead actors and others promoting it heavily in the media. They have enough time to promote and till then her previous film released too would settle down allowing her to give time for her next venture. Also, there are reports that the film has some shooting pending, which comes under the patchwork shoot that gave the makers another reason to push the date of release.
