While Kapil Sharma has been in news for all the wrong reasons of late, there is no doubt that the comedy God continues to rule our hearts given his wit and spontaneity. Winner of the comedy reality show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007, Kapil has since then been a part of various shows, all credit to his impeccable comic timing. After hosting a couple of reality shows, the comedian went on to launch his own, Comedy Nights with Kapil in 2013. But sadly, following the fallout with the channel, he had to shut shop CNWK just to come back with a bang on a rival channel.
Nothing could keep him away from what he does best- giving us an amazing time; he came back with The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony, which needless to say has got our weekends sorted. From a reality show host to owning a production house, Kapil has surprised us with his many brilliant roles and facets. But the best was yet to come. Making his big-screen debut with Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon, the actor tickled our funny bones in the typical Bollywood drama and is all set to give us more of his acting prowess with Firangi, which interestingly is his production venture.
Also, the actor’s love life too seems to be flourishing just like his career with the entry of Ginni Chatrarth, whom Kapil is soon to marry.
Today as the comedy king celebrates his 36th birthday, let us rejoice with him, relishing how it is just the unfailing commitment that leads a man to success. So a very happy and prosperous Birthday to Kapil Sharma.
