The filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has been a bold director and producer. He earned big name with exceptional and his exclusive work. Well! This man is full of surprises. On his 57th birthday, he announced that he is all excited to make his acting debut in his next big bilingual project “Cobra”, which he will co-direct with Agasthya Manju. He broke this news through a tweet that says, “Ahem! On the occasion of my birthday today, I am debuting as an actor for the first time in my career. I wouldn’t mind if you don’t bless me. Thanks,” Along with this announcement he also shared the first look poster of the film.
As per the poster this project is again based on a bold topic. It shares that it is a biopic about the “the most dangerous criminal ever”. The poster says a referral line about the character in the film. “If he’s arrested half the police department will be thrown into jail. Here, RGV plays an intelligence officer named R. Along with acting and co-directing he is also co-producing the film with DPR.
Sharing further about the movie, he wrote, “COBRA is a biopic of a rowdy sheeter turned naxalite turned Police covert agent turned gangster ..While the likes of Dawood Ibrahims and Chota Rajans ruled the criminal world on brand names, the Cobra ruled in anonymity ..No one knew of his existence till he died”
Well, Bollywood is full of reactions with this news. Even, Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, could not resists, he whole heartedly welcomed him to the world of acting. “Finally! Ram Gopal Varma, the ‘Sarkar’ finds his true vocation… Acting! All the best Sircar. Damn, another competition,” he wrote.
