Gulshan Grover has been the bad man in B Town. He has carved his niche hard in the B Town being the bad man and now has entered the Hollywood with a couple of films in his kitty called Prisoners of the Sun, Desperate Endeavors and Blind Ambition. He was also seen releasing his book known as the Bad Man and discussed his career at length. While talking about his career in Hollywood he said it was due to Shah Rukh Khan that it has worked out for him.
It was King Khan only who kept on asking him to try his luck in Hollywood when he was approached for the negative character in the film called The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli and Baloo while he was shooting with SRK in Yes Boss. He recalled his film with SRK called Yes Boss by Aziz Mirza way back in 1997 and that was the time when he was getting offers from Hollywood. He said was in a big dilemma about accepting or rejecting the offer hence he walked to Shah Rukh Khan and asked him to read the script.
Even before SRK read the script, he insisted the actor take the flight to Hollywood. Since he was busy with the film Yes Boss and felt that the producers would sue him for leaving the film in the midst or slash down the fee. But SRK motivated him to leave and even said that if he gets a call from the producer, he would handle the same. He then said time to leave for Hollywood and make us proud. While recalling this incident Gulshan Grover said that he really owe to SRK for making him decide to enter into Hollywood.
