‘Grey Area is not my Cup of Tea’ Emraan Hashmi on Mumbai Saga

Its been a while hearing about Emraan Hashmi. However, of late, he was seen talking about his next film Mumbai Saga. The actor has portrayed various grey characters on the silver screen. But he was seen saying that he is not at all comfortable doing them on the screen. He was talking to a daily newspaper when he talked at length about the roles that make him comfortable. He openly said he dislikes playing grey roles.
He said that although he has played such roles multiple times but he likes to do other kinds of roles. He said he is okay in experimenting with other riles and believes that these vital elements for any actor. Emraan Hashmi is playing the role of a police officer in Mumbai Saga in the Sanjay Gupta film. Talking about the role of the cop, he said even policemen do acts like a gangster as they help the people with unfair means. However, he feels playing a cop is his home turf and he can manage the same while doing Mumbai Saga.
Hashmi seems to be happy with the kind of role that has got in the film with a bit of shift on the right side. He said he has never has worn uniform on the silver screen and it will surprise many of his fans and other audience in B Town. Talking about working with Sanjay Gupta, he seemed to say that it is his absolute joy to work with the said director of the film. Emraan applauded the director and said that he is his fan for the incredible filmmaking skills. He concluded by saying that he is glad to work with him.
