Bollywood’s comedy king Govinda has ticked the funny bone of the audience for many years and once again, the actor is going to bring laughter on the big screen. He was last seen in the film ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ and now, the veteran actor will be back to entertain the audience. As per the report, Govinda will feature in Abhishek Dogra’s upcoming comedy drama tentatively titled ‘Fry-Day’. In this venture, Govinda will be sharing the screen with Varun Sharma, who portrayed the role of ‘Choocha’ in the film ‘Fukrey’.
Manu Rishi, the dialogue writer of the film ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’ and Rajeev Kaul, who penned the films like ‘Shola Aur Shabnam’, will be writing this comedy flick. The director Dogra is glad to have Govinda on board. Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ was the debut directorial of Abhishek Dogra. The earlier project by Dogra also starred Varun Sharma and this time, having Govinda to add more fun to the tale, it will be a must-see entertainer.
It’s a comedy of errors and the slip-ups by the two people form the shell of the tale. The actor Sharma is an avid Govinda fan and has grown up enjoying the movies by Govinda. He revealed that he is very much happy to have got an opportunity to work with the legendary comedy king and is looking forward to learn from him.
The female lead for this movie is not yet finalised. The shooting for this project will take place in Mumbai as well as Hyderabad and is expected to start rolling on October 21.
Varun Sharma has gained thumbs up from the viewers for his accurate comic timing and with Govinda by his side this time, the two actors are ready to set the floor on laughter.
