The Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh & Kiara Advani starrer Good Newwz hit the screens today amidst all the buzz in the media. Ever since the film’s trailer hit the media, the film enjoyed a good pre-release buzz and hence it has garnered a good response among the audience. The film with good star cast and an interesting story has got a good reviews that will also help the film in a big way.
The morning shows of the comedy-drama gained 20-25% of occupancy. However, the occupancy reports of the evening and the night shows went on the higher side reaching 70 to 75 per cent. With this, the box office collection for the comedy-drama film was decent for the makers to celebrate. As per reports, the 1st-day box office collection for Good Newwz reached to around 6.40 Crores. The experts feel that the collection of the film would rise in the first weekend for sure.
It is expected to get not less than 25 to 30 Crores at the box office. The film is expected to get a good report card by the end of the first weekend. However, the experts also feel that it will face competition from the Salman Khan starrer film Dabangg 3, hence one can expect the collection during the weekdays would be less than what the makers are expecting to get at the box office.
