THROWBACK to the time when Shah Rukh Khan was publicly insulted by a lady on KBC

Experienced people have told us not to meddle with Shah Rukh Khan. It appears that a woman who had attended Kaun Banega Crorepati when SRK appeared as the host was unaware of it. She persisted in disparaging the actor without cause, but King Khan put an abrupt end to it.

For those who don’t know, Amitabh Bachchan had to leave his position as host of the KBC after two seasons, despite his success. For the third season, none other than Shah Rukh took over and added his own eccentricity. In addition to Khan’s sense of humor, one female candidate who purposefully teased the actor made the third season memorable.

One female professor participated in one of the episodes of the hot seat as a contestant. She was enraged with Shah Rukh Khan from the beginning for no apparent reason. On the other hand, Khan remained composed and continued to handle the issue by making it funnier with humor and wit. As the game was coming to a finish, the lady took the biggest possible shot at Khan, making him look foolish.

While quitting the game she says, “Okay Mr. Khan, mein iss stage pe koi risk nahi lena chahungi. Mujhe iss show mein aapse gale milne ka koi shauk nahi hai (I don’t want to take any risk at this stage. I have no interest to hug you on this show). I quit.”

Shah Rukh Khan and the rest of the crowd both pause in surprise at her claim. But in the end, Shah Rukh Khan returned the favor in his own distinctive manner. He makes a funny joke at the woman by offering to give her mother a check for the prize money if she won’t mind giving him a hug. Talking to the contestant, Shah says, “Mein aapse ek request karunga. Aap agar bura na maane toh mein ye cheque aapki maaji ko deke aau, kyuki woh mujhse gale jarur milengi”.
