Synopsis: The popular digital platform called Netflix is back in the news with the web series called Ghost Stories, which is all set to hit the digital media on 1st Jan 2020. Well, the web series has an interesting star cast, which includes actors Sobhita Dhulipala, Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tiwary, Janhvi Kapoor, Raghuvir Yadav, Vijay Varma and Pavail Gulati, while it is distributed by Netflix. It is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Ashi Dua under the banner RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. The Cinematography is carried out by Sylvester Fonseca and Tanay Satam.
The web series has a couple of directors including Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap who have done the direction of their respective stories which they have brought up for the web series and interestingly there were the ones who also jotted down the stories for the same apart from Avinash Sampath to add one in it. Talking about the plot, it has four stories and the one directed by Karan deals with big fat weddings. Zoya Akhtar’s story would deal with the“innocent kindergarten rhymes.”
Similarly, we have Anurag Kashyap who has a story of a “Bird songs don’t sound sweet anymore,” and the last filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee has a story of a “Strange fascination and craving for a particular kind of food.
