The Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer film called A Gentleman, which was released on the festive day of Ganesh Chaturthi seemed performing with an average collection. The action-comedy film though opened up on a poor note with the movie netting around INR 3.75 crore nett. The film has witnessed a poor opening in the nothern Indian states like Haryana and Punjab for the obvious reasons along with even Delhi getting affected with this political tension that prevailed due to the Ram Rahim verdict. Now, we get to see the box-office collections on the second day going on a progressive note.
On the second day again the positive growth for the film was missing but on Sunday there seemed some amount of relief for the makers. As per reports, AG managed to get around INR 4 crore on its first Saturday, which made the total collection of INR 7.75 crore. However, on its first day, the film managed to collect 5.25 tolling to an average coleciton. Hence, in this way, the 1st weekend box office collection for the film tolled to around 13 crores, which was certainly less than the expectations of the makers.
Now talking about the film the lead actor Sid was seen saying in an interview claiming it to be a good action film having loads of romance elements. We get to see the comedy part as well hence he called the film to be a typical masala movie. He added that there is no stress in the movie. It has loads of things, right from pole dancing to Jacky doing action along with guns. It is completely a stress-free entertaining movie. He also added that the music of the movie is also cool. Even Jacqueline was seen saying the same that we get to see two Sid’s for the cost of one along with the pole dancing things and other elements.
