Amidst all buzz and hype, the film A Gentleman has been released. The film has Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles, while the movie received a decent reviews from most of the critics. If you check the morning shows occupancy, it tolled to around an average occupancy of 15% to 20%. With passing shows, the film ended up getting a decent occupancy which event went to 70 to 80 percent. Today being a holiday, the film witnessed a good buzz along with the occupancy both at the multiplexes and single screens that ended up giving a decent collection for sure.
Al though the two other movies have been released including the Nawazuddin Siddiqui starring Babumoshai Bandookbaaz and novices like Aadar Jain and Anya Singh starring like Qaidi Band. However, these two films went meager over the box office. In a sense, this film failed to get any hampered by any other film. As per reports, the first day collection A Gentleman tolled to around 5.6 crores, which is still a decent collection. Now talking about the trade experts, the film is likely to do better in the first weekend for sure.
If things go better and the film is able to manage to get a good word of mouth buzz in the media by the audience and others, the collection is likely to boost up in the coming days. However, the film is likely to be hampered by the other films released earlier, which include the Akshay Kumar starrer movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and the Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon starrer movie called Bareily Ki Barfi. Yet if things go well, the film A Gentleman is likely to witness a decent collection for sure. Let’s see how things go, but as of now the story for the film seems to be better.
