'Hero' must do well for kids' sake SunielShetty

Being the launch pad of two star kids Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi, former’s father and actor Suniel Shetty wants “Hero” to do well at the box office for the sake of both the “kids”.Sooraj, who was recently in controversy and jailed for allegedly abetting actress Jiah Khan’s suicide is the son of Aditya Pancholi.He has been released on bail and is being launched by Salman Khan with “Hero”.

“Hero” is directed by Nikhi Advani and produced by Salman Khan. Suniel Shetty, when asked about asked about Sooraj’s controversy said, “I support Sooraj completely and I know he is outstanding. People can only dream of such launch. I want the film to do well so that kids are happy.”

Sunielsays he has been in industry for a long time but he never had any Friday fever. Having featured in movies like “Dhadkan”, “Hulchul” and “Hera Pheri”, the actor said, “I was never scared of Friday. I never had that Friday fever. I have always made sure that I am financially secure. I multi-task and I have my real estate company and interior solution store, so by god’s grace I am secured”

When asked about his daughter the actor smiled and said,” Athiya loves Hindi films and likes most of them. She is extremely motivated and knows she is in the right place. She has been very creative and it happened about a year-and half back that she decided to be an actress.”

“Hero” is the remake of Subhash Ghai’s directed 1983 film with the same title, which starred Jackie Shroff. Co-written with UmeshBist, The film is scheduled for a December 12, 2014 release.
