Gautam Gulati walked out of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui even after initially saying yes to the film, here’s why!

Gautam Gulati became a well-known face after appearing on the famous TV show Bigg Boss hosted by Salman Khan. Recently, the actor was seen in Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. He was seen playing the character Girgit, one of the baddie Rana (Randeep Hooda) in the film. Before Radhe, the actor was also a part of films like Azhar, Behen Hogi Teri and Virgin Bhanupriya.

Gautam was approached for Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial film, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui which stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. But the actor decided to walk out of the film as he felt that the narration of the film was different from what he read on the final script.

In an interview with SpotboyE, Gulati said, “I was going to do that film but the narration of the film was a bit different than what was in the final draft. Abhishek Kapoor is a sweet guy and I was really looking forward to working with him. But when the final script came to me, there were some things that didn’t seem the same way as I was told earlier in the narration about my character. Earlier I had said yes to do the film just after hearing about my character but after this happened, I spoke to my team, we discussed and ended up not doing the film.”

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui is a progressive love story that will show Ayushmann as a cross-functional athlete. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Pragya Kapoor.
