Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer review: Alia Bhatt outshines in this epic story by Sanjay Leela Bhansali

After creating a huge buzz on social media, the trailer of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited film Gangubai Kathiawadi is finally out and the first word we have to say about it is ‘fabulous’. The 3.15 min-long trailer shows us a brief glimpse into the life of Gangubai from her rise and the journey of power. A call girl from the notorious streets of Mumbai to becoming the Queen of Kamathipura.

As expected from SLB, the trailer of the film gives you goosebumps. The filmmaker very well known for how to take us back in time that feels almost everything is happening in front of our eyes.

Talking about Alia, the actress always comes on screen with a package of surprises. From her language to her looks everything is on point. The trailer also takes us to the time when Gangubai was quite young and probably new to Kamathipura. Alia doesn’t need to speak a single word to express her pain and grief as a girl who is dragged into this profession.

While Alia is a complete package to watch, the trailer also amazes us with Vijay Raaz and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles. Ajay Devgn, whose first look was recently released, also pops up for a few seconds in the trailer but makes an impression. Though his character details are still not known, it seems he will emerge as the game-changer in the film.
