Gal Gadot will be seen in the remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic To Catch A Thief

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot is all set to head the present in an iconic new remake of the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock film classic, To Catch a Thief. The original film starred Academy Award-winning actress, Grace Kelly and Academy Award-nominated actor, Cary Grant. The story of the 1955 film revolves around a former thief who must find a way to prove his innocence after being suspected of returning to his former criminal habits.

According to variety, Gadot will star in a new version of To Catch A Thief for Paramount Pictures. Eileen Jones, a noted writer for Fox’s Prodigal Son, will write the screenplay for the upcoming remake.
Jones recently tapped into writing Margot Robbie Vehicles for a new line called Highway. Neal Moritz, the producer of the globally popular The Fast and Furious franchise, will be produced to catch a thief remake. Gadot will also produce with Jaron Versano through their production company Pilot Wave. Paramount Pictures is returning to set up the film, as they did the original.

Gadot’s schedule is filling up quickly as her other two upcoming high-profile film projects, Cleopatra and Snow White, have not yet begun filming. To Catch A Thief is currently in early development and is likely to begin production sometime after those two films are wrapped. Gadot will next be seen in Kenneth Branagh’s Death On The Nile, which releases February 11 in theaters.

The plot details for the Hitchcock Works Grant remake and which character Gadot will play in it are both currently unknown.
