From love to life, from a laugh to cry, Remembering Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary

Whenever talked about the old era of Bollywood Kishore Kumar is the top name that pops up in our mind. He was born in Khandwa on the 4th of August 1929. He started his career as a singer in Bombay talkies. Kumar was deeply inspired by K. L. Saigal. His style of yodeling made him a unique singer. A 70s song of his still affects us even today. Kishore Kumar is one of his kind which is hard to find in today’s era. Kumar has worked as a playback singer for Rajesh Khanna in more the 200 songs which is still a record. He has also sung for Amitabh Bachchan for more than 100 songs.

Apart from being a fabulous singer, he is also well known for his acting skills. He has acted in many films. Kumar is best known for his comic timing which we can see in movies like Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, Padosan, and Half Ticket. He was also seen in many serious characters like Ratan Kumar Chaudhary in Musafir and his work in Mr. X in Bombay was impressive which was directed by Pradyuman Bhardwaj.
