Aparshakti Khurana to take lessons of sign language expert for his next spy thriller movie ‘Berlin’

After playing the fun supporting characters in various films, Aparshakti Khurana was seen as the solo lead for the first time in ‘Helmet’, which was released on the OTT platform, Zee5, last year. Now, we will see him play the main character in the suspense thriller movie ‘Berlin’. He is performing the character of a sign language expert, who gets into the “dark vortex of rivalry” between intelligence agencies, deceit, and corruption. The film is scheduled to go on floors next month.

Aparshakti stated, “New day, new challenge. Berlin is a project that had me supremely excited since day one – purely because of what it brings to the table for me as an actor. Playing someone like a sign language expert in a thriller is exactly the kind of work I had been looking forward to doing since a very long time. I will be soon starting to work to learn and take classes to learn sign language. It will be an extensive training and workshops with an expert and I want to make sure I do the needful to learn it in as much detail”.

Talking for the director of this film, Aparshakti further added, “Atul expects you to be in top form with respect to the energy you bring to the set. It’s amazing to see his conviction towards his writing and direction.”

Shariq Patel, CBO of Zee Studios said Berlin is a true-blue Indian spy thriller layered with “intelligence, patriotic and political aspects.”

Director Atul Sabharwal will first time collaborate with Aparshakti Khurana for the film.
