Following the massive box office success of Chhaava (2025), anticipation is at an all-time high for Vicky Kaushal’s next collaboration with Maddock Films, titled Mahavatar. While the project has been in development for some time, the spotlight has now shifted to the search for the female lead, with Shraddha Kapoor reportedly emerging as the frontrunner.

According to a report by Mid-Day, Shraddha Kapoor has been approached to star opposite Kaushal in what is described as one of Maddock’s most ambitious projects to date.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the filmmaker behind Stree and Bhediya, Mahavatar is expected to go on floors after June 2026.
